TOWN OF WILSON — Police have identified the driver of an all terrain vehicle who died Thursday in a rollover crash as Kevn M. Ives, 51, of Tomahawk.
Ives was traveling westbound on CTH CC east of Poplar Drive in the town of Wilson on Thursday evening when his ATV struck a bear, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department. The ATV rolled, ejecting Ives, who was initially transported to Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk.
Ives was transferred by helicopter to Aspirus Wausau Hospital, where he later died, according to police. There were no other passengers involved in the crash.
