UPDATE — Police have identified a 56-year-old woman who died early Tuesday in a single vehicle crash as Tari A. Blank of Merrill.
Marathon County deputies responded at 6:07 a.m. to the crash off the southbound lane of Hwy. 51 near Emery Drive. When first responders arrived, they found a heavily damaged pickup. Blank was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release.
Police have not yet said what led up to the crash.
No other people or vehicles were involved. The crash remains under investigation.
