City seeks Christmas tree donations

in Wisconsin news

WAUSAU — Parks officials in Wausau are asking for live Christmas tree donations to decorate for the holiday season.

The city is seeking about four trees, which would be placed at City Hall, the Marathon County Courthouse, and at other key points within the city. Trees should be about 20 feet tall or larger, and should be in an area accessible by large equipment, such as in an alley or near a driveway, according to a city news release.

For information on how to donate a live tree, call the parks department at 715-261-1550, leaving your name, address, and phone number, and a parks official will return your call.
