SAINT GERMAIN — No one was injured in a blaze that destroyed a Vilas County home on Sunday afternoon.
The blaze was reported at around 6:23 p.m. on Oldenburg Lane, according to a news release issued by Vilas County Sheriff Joe Fath. When crews arrived, they saw flames shooting from the second story of the home.
The homeowner, who was in the home at the time the blaze broke out, was able to escape safely.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
