RIB MOUNTAIN — All cross country ski and snowshoe trails at Nine Mile Recreation Area will be closed all day Friday, Jan. 26 and on Saturday, Jan. 27 until 3 p.m., according to the Marathon County Parks Department
The south loop, between intersections 361 and 362 through the Nine Mile Forest unit will be closed to snowmobiles on Saturday until 3 p.m. for the Badger State Games. The north loop between those two intersections will remain open.
Parks officials are asking the public to stay off trails to preserve them for the Badger State Games.
