EDGAR — Crews are at the scene of a crash between a semi and a van in the Edgar area, where initial reports suggest two people are injured.
The crash, on Hwy. 97 at Huckleberry Road, was reported at about 8:25 a.m.
One passenger in the van was en route to a nearby medical facility for surgery when the crash happened, according to a witness.
No additional details are immediately available.
Roads throughout the area are slipper following an overnight snowfall. The Marathon County Sheriff’s Department is cautioning drivers to use extra care while traveling until roads are cleared.
