Police are asking for the public’s help in locating an inmate at the Marathon County Jail who left the facility on Friday on Huber privileges and did not return.

Jeffrey A. Bennett Jr. was serving a sanction for probation violations and is not considered a threat to the public, according to the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department. Court records show Bennett is serving a five-year probation term after being convicted in September on drug charges.

Bennett is 5’9? tall, 150 pounds, with a distinct tattoo on his neck that says “Makeya.”
