WAUSAU — The Center for the Visual Arts in downtown Wausau will offer summer art classes for kids.
Tween Camp — For kids from 12 to 15
June 18-28: Large mask and headdress. 9 a.m. to noon. $230.
July 10, 17, 24 and 31: Clay workshop. 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. $120
July 16-20: Poetry, journaling and destiny making. 9 a.m. to noon.
July 16-20: Drawing. 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Half day – $115. Full day – $230.
July 23-27: Painting. 9 a.m. to noon. $115
July 28: Another you collage workshop. 10 a.m. to noon. $30.
July 30: Another you collage workshop. 10 a.m. to noon. $30.
Aug. 6-10: Comic book. 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. $115.
Aug. 27: Poetry journaling and destiny making. 9 a.m. to noon. $115.

For kids ages 5 to 11, the CVA will hold various ArtVenture Camp classes from June 18 through Aug. 31. Morning classes run from 9 a.m. to noon; afternoon classes run from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. A half day costs $115; a full day costs $200.
