STEVENS POINT — The Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra will perform “Dinner en Blanc – a Solstice Celebration” on Thursday, June 21, at the Stevens Point Mathias Mitchell Public Square.

Attendees plan dinner, beverages and decorations, then dine together underneath the cover of a giant tent with twinkling lights. The event runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Participants are encouraged to wear all white and bring their own culinary creations, as well as beverages, table decorations and table service. Tables, chairs, table coverings and live music will be provided.

Table set-up will begin at 6 p.m. with the smooth musical sounds of the Silvas starting at 6:30 p.m. A formal toast to the community and the Summer Solstice will begin at 7 p.m.

A bucket raffle of creative local experiences will raise money for the CWSO until 8:30 p.m. Creativity is encouraged with recognition awarded to the most elegant and creative table.

Diners can choose to organize a group or join a community table.

Tickets for the event are $25 per person, which covers the cost of the table, chairs and live music. Tickets can be purchased at www.cwso.org, in person at Smith Scarabocchio Art Museum, 800 Main St., Stevens Point, or by calling 715-345-7726.
