MADISON — Three Wausau area schools recently received Technology for Achievement (TEACH) grants.

Rep. John Spiros, R-Marshfield, announced the winners this week.

“This week, $7.8 million was awarded to 252 schools in Wisconsin in the form of TEACH grants. Even more exciting, over $120,000 of those grants were awarded to three schools in our community: Auburndale, Marathon City and Mosinee,” Spiros said in a news release.

“These grants are such a fantastic resource for our schools,” Spiros said. “We’ve continued to put more money into the classroom to give our students the best chance possible. I’m excited to see what our schools in Auburndale, Marathon City, and Mosinee will be able to do with this money.”
