Pennies for Animals (MCPL Wausau)
Kids can visit the Marathon County Public Library’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau, to donate pennies and other monetary donations to be given to a local animal-focused nonprofit. Kindness Rocks: A Rock Painting Party (MCPL Spencer)
Kids can show off their creativity (and their kindness) by painting rocks at the Marathon County Public Library’s Spencer Branch, 105 S. Park St., Spencer. Stop by any time the library is open from July 23-27 to paint a positive picture, message or funky design on your rock, then give it to a friend or hide it around town for someone to find. Free, with all supplies provided.
