WESTON — Family members and a dog escaped unharmed early Monday after a blaze broke out at a Weston home, fire officials said.

The blaze broke out just after midnight at a home in the 4800 block of Fuller Street near the intersection of Janice Avenue. The home owner reported hearing what sounded like an explosion in the garage before the flames erupted, officials said.

By the time first responders arrived, the home was engulfed in flames.

An investigation is underway into what started the fire. No additional details were immediately released.
