TOMAHAWK — Spend a weekend being creative with an internationally known artist in a natural setting in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, this September.
Parachute, an art and nature makers retreat, will be held Friday through Sunday, Sept. 21-23, at Treehaven, a field station of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Led by artist Kent Youngstrom, the retreat is for those who like what they do but want to take it further, such as artists, musicians, life coaches, fitness trainers and anyone running a small business.
The workshop costs $495, which includes two nights of double-occupancy lodging, all meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday and the art supplies and materials.
