WAUSAU — The Woodson YMCA invites residents to attend free community classes on Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 22. There are four class options open to people ages 12 and older. The entry fee is a non-perishable food item.

At the Wausau Branch (707 Third St., Wausau)

  • 8 – 9:15 a.m.: Turkey Jam Aerobics in South Gym (Doors open at 7:50 a.m.). This Thanksgiving tradition features multiple instructors leading moves from Barre, P90X, Pump and Jump and Zumba.
  • 8 – 8:45 a.m.: Thankful Cycle Burn in North Studio

At the Aspirus Branch (3402 Howland Ave., Weston)

  • 8:15 – 9 a.m.: Turkey Shred in Gym. This is a boot camp-type experience for any fitness level. This class makes use of the entire gym with a blast of cardio and strength movements.
  • 9:15 – 10:15 a.m.: Turkey Tabata in Studio B. This class combines cardio interval drills and strength training for all over body toning.
