WAUSAU — Police say a 43-year-old man last seen Thursday by his wife is no longer considered a missing person.

Friends and family members of Jeff Wieloch are circulating a post on Facebook asking for help locating the man, who was last seen at 5:42 p.m. Thursday in Wausau by his wife.

Wausau Police Deputy Chief Matt Barnes said his department was contacted about Mr. Weiloch, but based on their subsequent investigation officers no longer have reason to believe he is in danger. Police now believe Weiloch has left Wisconsin, but are still seeking an opportunity to speak with him, Barnes said.

Wieloch is described as a white man who is 6’2? tall and 145 pounds with a shaved head and goatee. He typically wears a hat, has both ears pierced with tattoos on both arms. Wieloch drives a dark purple/black metallic Mazda CX7.
