WAUSAU — The Wausau RiverWolves and The Neighbors’ Place Food Bank & Pantry have partnered for a canned soup drive, to be held today, Feb. 15, during the RiverWolves game against the Wisconsin Whalers at the Marathon Park Ice Arena.

All fans are encouraged to donate a can of soup and receive $1 off your ticket. Other non-perishable items will be accepted, as well.

“Hearty soups are always needed this time of year in food pantries. What better to feed the body and the soul,” said The Neighbors’ Place Food Bank & Pantry Director Kathryn Rubino, in a RiverWolves news release. “It’s great to see organizations like the RiverWolves Hockey promoting this event to help our clients in need, especially during this 2019 cold Wisconsin winter.”

Doors open 45 minutes before puck drop at 7:30 p.m. For more information visit riverwolveshockey.com.
