WAUSAU — At a news conference held Wednesday, Wausau Mayor Robert Mielke gave an update on city infrastructure projects planned for the year.
The projects include improvements and/or reconstruction on three main arterial roadways and two local streets, along with asphalt overlay and seal coating work. Crews will also replace existing sewer pipelines that cross the Wisconsin River.
Officials are also continuing to plan and design upgrades for both the water and wastewater treatment facilities.
