WAUSAU — YWCA Wausau is seeking nominations for women who have provided inspiring, innovative, impactful leadership and/or made significant contributions to communities in Marathon County.

Women of Vision is a longstanding YWCA tradition. The annual May luncheon celebrates women who help others and have a vision to make out community a better place. These Women of Vision come from many walks of life — business, nonprofits, volunteers — but they have all made significant impact through community service.

The 2019 keynote speaker is Diane Postler-Slattery. Postler-Slattery is the president and CEO of MidMichigan Health, but many will know her as the former president and COO of Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

YWCA Wausau also presents scholarships to area women who are attending higher education in 2019-2020. Scholarship applications are open to current high school seniors, current college and university students, and non-traditional women who are returning to school in 2019.

More information and nomination forms are available at YWCAWausau.org. Nominations are due on April 1. The annual Women of Vision luncheon will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 17 at Hilton Garden Inn. More information and tickets are available at YWCAWausau.org.
