NEW! Join the library during the 46th annual Children’s Fest on April 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Marathon Park, 1201 Stewart Ave., Wausau. Learn about the library, what events it has planned and make a fun craft! Free admission. Call 715-261-1550 for more info.

NEW! A special money-themed story time event will be offered on April 9 from 10:30-11 a.m. at the Rothschild Branch, 211 Grand Ave., Rothschild. Kids in attendance will receive a book, crayons and coloring pages courtesy the Get Smart Wausau Coalition, while supplies last. Free. Call 715-359-6208 for more info.


NEW! Join the library for a free class on Microsoft Word and using Word to create your own resume on April 9 from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau. Kids, tweens, teens and adults can submit written works focused on stories and memories of the village of Marathon during “Marathon Memories” essay contest, running through May 31. Awards will be presented in each of the four age categories.
