A Rothschild man reported missing in October has been found dead, according to the Forest County Sheriff’s Department.
Richard Czarnecki, 84, was last seen Oct. 8 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Rothschild and was reported missing by family members.
Police in Forest County on Friday responded to a report of a vehicle off the roadway in a dense wooded area near the intersection of Hwy. 32 and Strong Road in the town of Argonne, where the found a man unresponsive inside the vehicle.
The man has been identified as Czarnecki, according to the Forest County Sheriff’s Department.
Police are continuing their investigation into his death.
