RIB MOUNTAIN — The Scrub & Shoe Co. will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house to celebrate the completed remodel of its business at 1 p.m. May 17. This event is open to the public and will be held at 3401 Rib Mountain Drive.
The Scrub & Shoe Co. was the brainchild of Scott Steuernagel after he started selling scrubs via his mobile business. He also developed the brands Uniforms Direct and ScrubsLove.
Steuernagel opened the Rib Mountain store in 2017 and he began the remodel in 2018.
“We aim to provide the best uniforms available to healthcare and restaurant professionals,” said Will Flores, retail and group sales manager at The Scrub & Show Co., in a Wausau Region Chamber of Commerce news release. “These people work hard, every day for the good of others and it’s great to be able to provide them at least some form of comfort in their lives. After all, at some point, all of us are going to need their services.”
