WAUSAU – REI Engineering, Inc. and Northwest Petroleum Service, Inc. have presented scholarships to Mosinee High School students Emily Worring and Maren Worzella, both in the class of 2019.
Worring plans to attend the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point in the fall. Worzella plans to continue her studies in the nursing program at Northcentral Technical College.
The scholarship program is for children of REI and NPS team members and developed in 2015 to assist with the cost of post high school education.
“We are proud and excited to offer a unique benefit for our team members and their families,” REI President Jen Nieuwenhuis said in a news release. “The scholarships align with our companies’ focus on team member retention and recruitment.”
