WESTON — Holiday Inn Express & Suites will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate a finished hotel renovation project at 10 a.m. on July 17 at 4210 Barbican Ave. This event for the public will also include a welcome for Kayla Perron as the new director of sales and marketing at the hotel.
Perron is responsible for overseeing all sales and marketing for the hotel. She joins the Great Lakes Management Group Team with years of experience selling both independent and various IHG hotel brands in the state while leading a sales team.
“We are fortunate to have Kayla be a part of this great hotel’s leadership,” said Adam Schomaker, vice president of sales and marketing for Great Lakes Management Group, in a Wausau Region Chamber of Commerce news release. “She has an amazing sales background and her experience is truly an asset that will help guide our success in the future.”
Features of the hotel’s new design include:
- An open, pod-style front desk area that delivers a familiar and expedited check-in and -out experience.
- Flexible seating in the Great Room, including community tables with built-in wired and wireless charging access where guests can collaborate with colleagues or relax with friends and family.
- Streamlined guestrooms that include a built-in niche with an under-the-counter refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and supply space.
