TOWN OF MATTESON, Wis. — One person is dead and another person is hospitalized following a motorcycle crash Saturday in the Waupaca County town of Matteson, police say.
The crash happened Sunday on CTH C west of Old County Road CC. Police say a 68-year-old Elkhart Lake man was driving the motorcycle when a deer darted into the roadway, causing him to lose control and roll the bike. The man died at the scene.
A passenger on the motorcycle, a 70-year-old Elkhart Lake woman, is hospitalized.
No names were released.
