Using a few craft supplies and a lot of imagination, kids can make their own puppets, action figures or fashion dolls from Oct. 22-25 at the Athens Branch, 221 Caroline St., Athens. Drop in any time the branch is open to participate. Free. Call 715-257-7292 for more info.

Kids will have a chance to learn how to quilt with a monthly program that begins on Oct. 22 at the Stratford Branch, 213201 Scholar St., Stratford. Kids and families can put their problem-solving skills to the test by trying to escape from a pop-up escape room on Oct. 24 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rothschild Branch, 211 Grand Ave., Rothschild.
