At least one crash is causing serious backups on Hwy. 51 north of Wausau, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
The initial crash was reported on Hwy. 51 south at CTH K/Bus. 51 at about 8:15 a.m.. The left shoulder of Hwy. 51 southbound is blocked but traffic in both directions is stalled as of 8:45 a.m.
No serious injuries have been reported at this time.
