Photography Club Volunteer. The Boys and Girls Club needs your help to start a Photography Club. Show club members how to use a camera, explain what the camera functions mean, give tips and tricks on how to take a good picture and lead photo challenges. YWCA Office Assistance. If you can give one morning or afternoon a week to help with data entry, mailings and other project related work, this may be for you! Contact Joann for more information at jhendrickson@ywcawausau.org or 715-842-3381.

Read to Kids Over the Lunch Hour in Edgar! Reading scores improve and positive relationships will be built with kindergarteners and first-graders on Fridays over the lunch hour (11 a.m. to noon) at Edgar Elementary School. Contact Krista at 715-298-5719 or kmischo@unitedwaymc.org.  

Help People in Transition. The Open Door of Marathon County is in need of volunteers to help recently released inmates, who are in need of proper seasonal clothing, footwear and toiletries. Contact Anne at 715-848-4044 or at opendoor319@gmail.com.

Age 55+ and Want to be a Volunteer? RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) can find the right volunteer position for you! In-Kind Donated Items Needed

Paper Grocery Bags. Grocery bags are needed for items to be packed in at the food pantry and delivered to Faith in Action care-receivers by volunteer drivers every two weeks. To donate, contact Jamie from Faith in Action at 715-848-8783 or wausaufiainfo@gmail.com.

Warm Men’s Outerwear. The Open Door is looking for warm outer wear for men. Coats, hats, gloves and long underwear are needed. To donate, contact Anne at 715-848-4044 or opendoor319@gmail.com.

Cooking Utensils for Food Pantry. The Neighbors’ Place can distribute cooking spoons, spatulas and can openers to the clients who receive food.
