Marathon County Snowmobile Trails will remain open through March 1, the Wausau and Marathon County Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department announced today.
Clubs will stay in contact with the Wausau and Marathon County Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department about trail conditions and water crossings throughout the upcoming weeks to determine when the trails will close.
Marathon County asks trail users to monitor conditions through its website co.marathon.wi.us/Departments/ParksRecreationForestry/Recreation/Snowmobiling.aspx as trail conditions can deteriorate quickly and closures can be posted at short notice.
