WAUSAU — Three of the six Wisconsin companies that were awarded the Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year Awards in February in Milwaukee are members of the Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce announced in March.

Receiving recognition in the Grand Award categories were Gamber-Johnson in the medium category, Nueske’s Applewood Smoked Meats in the large category and Greenheck in the mega category.

The annual Manufacturer of the Year Awards program recognizes Wisconsin companies that demonstrate a commitment to business excellence, supporting their workforce and involvement in their community.

“We are humbled to receive the Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year award, and proud to be part of a team where everyone is working together for the good of so many.” said Rich Totzke, senior vice president at Greenheck, in a chamber news release.

“I could not be prouder of our team at Gamber-Johnson and deeply appreciate this award that recognizes our culture of continuous improvement and unerring focus on our customers.” said Brian Wagner, president & CEO at Gamber-Johnson, in the release.
