MERRILL — The Wisconsin River Pro Rodeo scheduled for June 12 through June 14 in Merrill has been cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic.
“In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be honoring the safety of our fans, contestants, vendors, committee, and all that assist us in providing a fun-filled weekend,” the Wisconsin River Pro Rodeo Committee said in a news release.
The rodeo has been rescheduled for June 2021, specifically June 11, 12 and 13.
“We will be back with an action-packed weekend, with an added specialty act, great food and entertainment for all ages to enjoy,” the committee said.
