The Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau Area and WIFC 95.5 FM are getting together for a day of fun and hands-on learning with Kamp Kallaway.
Throughout the summer, the WIFC team has taken on the role of Kamp counselors and hosted a number of activities for kids to do at home. This week the team is bringing the Kamp to the Club.
On Aug. 7, WIFC will be at the Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau Area offering STEAM and healthy lifestyles programming. Club members will participate in-person at the club and kids in the community can participate virtually by clicking here.
Kamp participants will work together on four activities designed to help them learn, practice teamwork and make good decisions. Together, they will build a solar powered oven to bake s’mores, create an edible mosaic, reinforce healthy lifestyle choices with fruit kabobs and practice problem-solving with bubble making.
