Red Cross: Shelter Workers: Open to Deployment. Due to predictions for an active hurricane and wildfire season and the complexities of COVID-19, training is occurring now to help support emergency shelters. Roles to be filled are reception, registration, food prep, information collection and other vital tasks. Contact Lee at lee.borofka@redcross.

The Open Door: Remote Opportunity: Write Encouragement to Inmates. Connection with community members who offer optimism and hope is a real boost to those in jail. Call Anne at 715-848-4044 for more information about how to get started.

Community Blood Center: Merrill: Blood Drive Registration. Welcome and assist donors at blood drives throughout the county and at the donor center in Merrill. Orientation and training is provided.
