Wausau Pilot & Review

The D.C. Everest DECA chapter earned numerous awards at the Wisconsin DECA Career Development Conference with several students advancing to the International DECA Career Development Conference (ICDC) this spring. 

DCE DECA earned the Diamond Level Status from Wisconsin DECA and Thrive Level from National DECA. All four of DCE’s School Based Enterprises earned Gold: Everest Expressions, Everest Outfitters, Spirit Box and the Tree Top Shop. In addition, DCE DECA earned five Community Service Awards for Acts of Kindness, General Contribution to Charity, MDA, the Polar Plunge and Trick or Can. 

Individually, Vinnie Tesch earned third place for the Entrepreneurship Business Growth Plan he crafted for his business, Premier Lawn and Landscape. Medalists from the DCE DECA chapter included Cassidy Lackey, Lyn Sepersky, Michayla Susa and Taylor Thelen.

The following D.C. Everest students will compete at ICDC this spring, which will take place in Anaheim, California.
